"This place MADE our vacation the best it could be. The people there are all so kind and caring. We brought our own bicycles and found a flat tire on one of our bicycles. They repaired it in minutes; and offered solutions to repel sand fleas that WORKED!_It was our 11th Anniversary and we spent 20 minutes in this place just talking to the staff._My mom had fallen and had two broken feet on vacation, she was in a wheel chair during our stay and the ONLY thing that made her stay bearable was the golf cart rental. *NOTE* Edisto Beach has a policy of golf cart rentals for residents only._We did NOT expect to be able to rent a golf cart, as we were vacationing. We were pleasantly surprised to rent one._I think this place is the BEST place on Edisto Island. These people MAKE Edisto Beach."

"I'm not sure the negative reviews are being assigned to the right business here. I stopped in just the other day with two bikes in need of some TLC and found everyone as nice and helpful as they could be. The work was done very quickly and the price was extremely reasonable. I will definitely be going back."

"I recently rented a golf cart and some paddle boards for my family's vacation. We had a great time! All the workers were very helpful and were able to answer any questions that we asked. They really have it all, a must stop if you are visiting Edisto!"

"If you have something negative to say about the folks at Outfitters, I say you probably have never been satisfied with anything. These folks are great. Been doing business with them for years and have never had any issues at all. "

"I called in for a quote on a bike repair, when I came in with my bike not only were they able to fix my bike in under 15 minutes but their quote was accurate and now my bike is running smoothly. Skip the big chain stores in the area, where they have 16 year olds running the shop, and go to Island Bikes and Outfitters where they truly know their bikes. "
